Since the age of 14 I’ve written songs. I did the band thing for a year or so when I was at school with all my mates, playing the songs I wrote at school concerts and such. After we split up I continued to write songs now and then but mostly played other peoples songs.
About two and a half years ago I began seriously writing songs for myself again, after spending years dabbling and never seeing any result. Writing became fun again. After attending many gigs and many different venues across the country I realised that I could start getting up on stage, it didn’t matter about ability and years of working my way up. It wasn’t the venue or city that mattered. All that matter was the music and that’s all I’ve ever cared about. Music is all I have ever wanted to do, all I’ve ever done and will be the focus of my attention for the rest of my life.
Whilst at college and university over the past two years I spent a lot of time writing lyrics and music, enough to start building up a number of songs to choose from to perform and now all I wanna do is start getting some gigs and performing and start making a name for myself.
My music is acoustic. But I would really class it as nerdcore. I write about whatever comes to mind and this is usually heavily influenced by my interests and knowledge of sci-fi, the supernatural, TV and movies and lots more. My biggest musical influences are Jonathan Coulton and Nerf Herder, both nerdcore artists/bands who showed me that no matter what topic you tackle, somewhere there is an audience that will love your music and your personality. That’s what I want to do now, find my audience!

I'd just wait quietly for her to notice me - which would never happen. 
Hee hee, I love that little googly-eyed face! Yeah, I'm going to bed now, I'm exhausted. Actually, I just realised we have 5 computers lol. We have a desktop PC in the room upstairs and next to that is a brand new desktop mac, which are both Shaun's. He doesn't use the PC much anymore, but we load it up with downloads. The mac is connected to studio monitors and a keyboard for music making. He also has a macbook laptop. I have a PC laptop and mini laptop, for taking to uni and stuff. We have a modem set up to the main desktop and run the laptops from a router, so it's all the one connection. But we have ADSL 2, so it runs like lightning.
