~ Welcome to my page ~
I'm Lauren from France, living in Ireland 9 years and still very much loving it despite the weather. I'm currently working on my debut album and on a charity project called 'Peace Zone'.
I'm very excited at the moment because I recently started practicing with a new bunch of lovely people, which means that the a.l.b.u.m. is drawing nearer to its completion... although there's still quite a lot to be done. These days I'm pretty happy with 'Actions Speak Louder Than Words' as a title for the album but this will probably change again.
The big 'Peace project' that is Peace Zone was launched last May in Ireland's most haunted castle (Charleville Castle in Tullamore, Co. Offaly) and the weekend went really well. We're doing another event at the castle on September 19th to celebrate World Peace Day and it's going to be even better. Come!
The two songs above are quite old and were featured on my [sold out] debut EP. If you fancy hearing some more recent stuff, you can either wait for the album to come out or you can have a wee listen to a few demos I have up on my 'rough demos' page - check it out in my Top Friends :)

Hi Lauren, Thank you very much for your comment. Well, too bad you don't have a sound card, I wanted to know what you think =(. We've put our album for free on the internet simply because our primary goal now is to be heard. You have no idea how hard it is over here to be a musician. We don't care about making any money out of our music we just wanna spread outside the borders of our country. I was gonna ask you if you know God is an Astronaut when I read that you're from Ireland. When I scrolled down to your comments I actually understood that you know them personally, haha, that's really cool. They're definitely one of our biggest influences. When we released our album we actually left them a comment and they wrote back wishing us luck =). I don't think they have the time to check it out though. It still was very cool of them to write back though. Anyways, if you ever feel like coming to Egypt you have to contact us. I'd love to meet you and show you around. It's a beautiful place, you're gonna love it. Just extremely polluted and noisy but I believe as a landscape it's the most beautiful in the whole world, it has everything deserts, beaches, mountains, everything. And if you're into monuments and sightseeing, you'll have the time of your life, it's brilliant.

The gig went very well, not too muddy on the Friday but Sunday was pretty bad, went in and saw NIN, very good. Don't remind me of the Solas festival lol.
