we will all say remember when Lauren recorded her first demo? Ladies
and gentlemen, this is happening now. Lauren Malyon, a 19 year old
prodigy is launching her career. In just a short period of time, she has impressed countless musicians with whom she has worked with. Haydain Neale (Jacksoul), Marco DiFelice (Supergarage), and Daniel Victor (Neverending White Lights) have all produced a demo of her songs. She has performed live at the Mod Club, Healy's, the Reverb, Now Lounge, the El Mocambo, the Metro Convention Centre, the Rivoli, the Drake and 102.1 the Edge. She continues to attract audiences of all ages, while opening for great musical acts such as: Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace), Scott Anderson (Finger Eleven), Marco DiFelice (Supergarage), Daniel Victor (Neverending White Lights), Naomi Striemer (S Records), Ashes of Soma (Maple), Grand:PM (Curve Music) and Crush Luther (High 4 Records).
Lauren grew up in Port Perry, a quaint Victorian town on the shores
of Lake Scugog, just northeast of Toronto. From the age of 3, when
Lauren picked up her first violin, to the age of 13 when she achieved
her ARCT in piano performance; Lauren has never been afraid to follow her dreams. Having studied classically while growing up, and well in her teen years, she began to write and perform her own music. Lauren's well crafted compositions and angelic vocal melodies melt together her training and natural given talent. We hope you will see the raw talent, dedication and conviction in her songs.
