Lauren Mascitti is a dynamic 17 year old multi-talented singer/songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and dancer from Ohio who believes that God expects us to use our talents for Him and to further His Kingdom. Lauren was raised in a Christian home and has always loved the Lord and has always had a desire to please Him. Lauren started singing professionally for God at the age of seven and has won many awards. She has shared the stage with many popular artists such as the World Famous Platters, the Booth Brothers, Jesse Dixon, Karen Peck and New River, Kurt Tally, Tim and Alice Lovelace, the Browns, the Steeles, and jammed with Les Brown, Jake Simpson, and Jana King Evans on the Mickey Gilley Theater stage. She has also appeared with Clay Aiken’s 2005 “Joyful Noise” tour and opened for the Nashville Stars. She has sung at many Branson theaters such as the Hamner Barber Theater, Mansion America, Tri Lakes, Mo Bandy Theater, the Americana, the White House Theater, and at the Radisson Hotel. Lauren also lived in Branson for three months while doing “Southern Gospel Sundays” and “A Christmas Celebration” with Gary McSpadden at the Americana Theater. She has studied under the vocal genius of Nashville, Brett Manning, and the very beautiful and talented Jana King Evans of Branson, Missouri.
This year, Lauren is excited and blessed to be in the top 8 Inspiration Network’s Christian Artist Talent Search, or C.A.T.S contest. She is also proud to be a performer in the "Dean Martin Fest" with Dean's daughter, Deana Martin.
This past summer, Lauren was blessed to put out a new album with two wonderful Christian producers. This new self titled album of Lauren’s is very close to her heart because, although she has done four other projects, this is the first album she has done using songs that she has written. The producers for this project are well known songwriter and arranger Adam Kohout of Richmond, Virginia, and the incredible popular gospel power-house vocalist Buddy Mullins of Nashville TN. Just having their names on the disc is worth buying the CD!
