Recorded with producer Tony Dupe (Holly Throsby, Jack Ladder, Saddleback) in his picturesque rural studio, her debut EP There Will Be Static draws influences from jazz, french-pop, lounge and folk genres. Filled with infectious melodies, syncopated beats and sparse instrumentation, Lauren possesses a delicate, quirky vocal style and peppers There Will Be Static with poetic lyrics focused on themes of love, life and learning.
With her unique vocal delivery and sassy stage presence, Lauren receives regular airplay on Sydney community radio stations 2SER and FBi, and has earned a reputation for arresting live shows.
