| General | Well, my short list is this: improv, sketch comedy, and comedy in general..., the color orange, jewelry, elephants, candy, toys, Sharpie Markers, over-analyzing stuff, and a fascination with Lil' Kim. (Anyone else see "Lil' Kim's Countdown to Lockdown"? Probably the best thing ever...) | | Music | Anything and Everything. A small sampling: Gnarls Barkley, Magnetic Fields, Lyrics Born, (Favorite song? "Lady Don't Tek No... by Latyrx), Spoon, Beatles, Blackalicious, Tom Waits, Zap Mama, Nick Cave, The Temptations, The GO!Team, Atmosphere, The Clash, Bjork, Stevie Wonder, Mos Def and The Pixies!! | | Movies | Anything that is so good it's awesome. Or so bad it's awesome. I also have a weakness for dance movies with kick-ass dancing and terrible acting. I love sports movies too...but it comes with a warning. I usually cry when they win the game or when they're told they have "heart" by their gruff coach who means well. | | Television | I don't cook and I don't own a home, but I have a crippling addiction to The Food Network and HGTV. I also love Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office (both versions), Strangers with Candy, Spongebob, Law and Order (all versions), Sex in the City, Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and other shows of that same ilk. I am also really into British comedies as well. Anything with Steeve Coogan, The Mighty Boosh, SPACED, The Day Today, Peep Show, Black Books, Father Ted, and of course The Python and Faulty Towers foor good measure. Really though, I'll watch just about anything. | | Books | I will read anything and everything, but to offer a sampling: I like biographies, books about jewelry and elephants, the Potters, the Snicket, the Gaiman, the Sedaris (both of them), the Suess, and books on epidemics and raising your social relevance. | | Heroes | The Globe Trotters (How do they do it?!!!!) |

About me:
I will describe myself using an analogy involving candy and weather. I am a jellybean thunderstorm. On the one hand it's annoying to get pelted with jellybeans. But the other hand is filled with a shit ton of free jellybeans that just fell from the sky! Plus, it's really hard to stay mad at jellybeans for too long. Hmmm, what else? Well, I also have way more OCD tendencies than I care to admit. (But I prefer to think of them as endearing idiosyncracies.) I am happiest when I'm fully caffeinated and wearing pounds of jewelry. I like things that rhyme. But not all the time ("BOO! GET OFF THE STAGE!"). I own a lot of novelty pens, though I have never purchased one for myself. Oh, and I adopted a Sperm Whale through a Bubblicious campaign a few years back, but I don't know where that whale is now.
