Ever since she can remember Lauren Rainey has dreamed of bright lights and screaming fans as she sings her heart out about finding love, getting over hurt, finding yourself then finding true love again. Lauren’s career began at the tender age of 4 and blossomed over the years as she polished her pipes as a member of the church’s youth choir, school chorus' and performances for her family and friends on the fireplace of her North Carolina home. By using her bold talent and love for the stage to glorify the Lord, Lauren began to realize that music was an outlet for her soul. She was determined to become what everyone in her life always knew she would be; a fresh and brilliant artist capable of bringing tears to the eyes and warmth to the heart with a sense of understanding and compassion she presents to all of her fans through her voice.
By the time Lauren reached the 6th grade, her future in the music industry was inevitably bright! The school chorus teacher encouraged Lauren’s parents to invest in their daughter’s future with a voice coach and acting lessons, in which Lauren quickly and excitedly enrolled. Before the summer heat had a chance to subside, Lauren was on her way to performing in musicals such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera and The Secret Garden. She also shined as the leading role in Will Roger’s Follies.
Lauren began her high school career with even more drive and determination...and of course proved that hard work pays off as she became the only freshman to be accepted into the schools' prestigious Top Show Choir. Well, "age ain’t nothin’ but a number!" Lauren demanded the crowd’s attention with a sound that rivaled her older, more experienced choir-mates and came out with an on-stage attitude that never quit. Following high school, Lauren received her degree from Appalachian State University but after, she knew it was time to begin her rise to the top of Country Music!
After two years of working on her first album in Charlotte, NC, she was ready to pack it up and head West on Highway 40! Nashville Tennessee was clearly waiting with open arms and opportunities that seemed to open up almost immediately. Lauren began playing around Nashville as soon as she was settled and hasn't stopped. And in just 8 short months, Country Music Television recognized her on-air presence and asked is she would host her own show on their newest Broadband network, "Loaded"! This opportunity has also landed her a monthly spot on "CMT Insider" which Lauren attributes to "God's way of preparing me for BIG plans".
Watch this woman as she lights up the stages in your town and takes her place among the stars. When you meet her, you'll know. She will take you with her to a whole new level of stardom that comes from years of learning, growing, and stretching into the classy, unyielding, Country Music artist she has become!
