Lauren was born and raised on a Gold Mine in Fox, ALASKA, about 20 minutes outside of Fairbanks. Lauren was hired as a REPORTER and ANCHOR at the age of 18 for NBC and later on the ABC affiliate in FAIRBANKS and ANCHORAGE.
She travelled all over ALASKA to report on STORIES such as WILDFIRES, MURDERS, TRIALS, POLITICS, SCANDALS.
Her FAVORITE experiences were covering the IDITAROD SLED DOG RACE live from the starting line in downtown Anchorage... and LANDING on MOUNT MCKINLEY with the US ARMY in a CHINOOK HELICOPTER.
