Lauren has always been interested in music, listening to it and seeing her favourite bands in concert. During her teens a school friend commented that some poetry Lauren had written sounded more like a song than a poem. This was a turning point and got Lauren interested in writing. Since the millenium Lauren has been working hard on developing her lyric writing, and picking up some musical knowledge along the way. Most exciting is the achievement and success she has achieved with her collaborations.
Lauren has worked with:
Boyana Bojern and Billy Playle of the F-Jam Musicians Community.
Tyler Earle, a good friend and talented singer songwriter from London.
Dave Charles and Nicola Lelean a musican from Jersey, and singer from Essex.
More recently Lauren has started working with singer Zoe Handscomb and Rob Edwards, a producer/sound engineer/singer/songwriter, both based in Bournemouth.
Lauren's collaborations have attracted some interest from publishers worldwide and local/community radio stations. She has support from BBC Essex, Saint Fm, Gateway Fm, Radio Seagull, and has also been played on Moray Firth and Radio Caroline.
Lauren has reached the semi finals of the U.K Songwriting twice, with Footprints, and That's How It Goes. She has also entered both songs in the Fame Games and reached Semi Finals, and Quarter Finals respectively. Voting @ meermusic.com/tylerandlauren or meermusic.com/zoehandscomb. That's How It Goes was also chosen by TSG Media who provide back/foreground music for over 7,500 locations across the U.K, possible airplay there!

Hey Lauren, listened to your songs a few times and like them...I'd say That's How It Goes is prob my fave of the two. As far as studios go, my boyfriend is a sound engineer and has his own equipment. He recorded my demos for me. Very resonable rates and we're in Bournemouth so only 2 hours from you : ) My cousins live in Essex too. It would be cool to record some of your songs.
