Laurens is a young keyboardplayer from the Netherlands, although young, he is experienced and skilled. Starting out as one of the songwriters and lyricists behind the experimental hardcore band "Daybreakthinair", but now playing a wide variety of styles, such as blues, jazz, pop and alternative in an also wide variety of bands, such as: Jean Parlette, Lawn, Not Shakespeare and Miss Ippi. Laurens is known for his unique and energetic stage-presence as well as work behind the scenes, managing, organising and producing. Although mainly a keyboardplayer, Laurens also likes to play bluesharp, bassguitar, guitar and drums.

Wederom een kekke Vette Analoge Shit voor de novembermaand met de vreemde eend in de bijt: Anathallo, het zevenkoppige gezelschap uit Chicago Illinois. Met twee glockenspielen, verschillende soorten percussie en verder zo ongeveer alles waar geluid uitkomt, weet Anathallo een hypnotiserend potje indiefolk neer te zetten. En het is ook nog eens leuk om te zien want de bandleden rennen door elkaar om voortdurend van instrument te wisselen. Deze onvoorspelbare sensatie van de voorlaatste Lolapalooza tour is net getekend door het sympathieke Anticon label. En om er wat muzikale referenties tegenaan te gooien om de zaak verder te verhelderen: als je van Neutral Milk Hotel of Why? houdt is dit zeker wat voor jou! Nu gaan zien die band voordat je naar bijvoorbeeld Dour moet afreizen.
Support komt van de Canadese songer-songwriter Autumn Picture, die doet wat zoveel zijn landgenoten ook zo goed kunnen: ijzingwekkend mooie liedjes maken!
