The music I make is simple, I perform it alone, and it is based on real time loops and pre-recorded loops, and electronic guitar and a small keyboard. It is simple because it is digestible, with interesting textures.
The Laurentide Ice Sheet was the last continental glacier.
At its glacial maximum, 21,000 ago, the ice sheet covered all of the northern Plains states, all of Canada, the area west of the Rocky Mountains, and in the northeast it extended as far south as Long Island, New York (Rittenour 2004) (Figure 1.1). Over the last 2.3 million years geologists speculate that there have been 20 similar glacial advances (Little, 2003).
The ice grew into a thick sheet that may have been anywhere from one to two miles (or 5,000-10,000 feet) thick at its center (Little 2003).
your music makes me feel like chilling at the beach but then it starts to get windy and cloudy. its obviously going to start to rain. but then a gigantic fish pops out of the water and it looks like you. it is carrying a plant and is sweating. it has a red electric guitar. and manages to play your songs as it flies above the water. then plunges back in and hangs out with other tropical fish. and the plant turns into a sea plant. and everyone sits around it and plays cards. then they go get a burrito. and sleep on couches
A big part of me wants this profile to have some customization work done to it. Maybe an iceberg with some sun and birds? Earth tones, perhaps?
You're all in my ipod now, where you belong.
Matt Trumbul-- the album has been on steady rotation. For some reaosn I'm never good at telling people I like their music when it's actually true, but it's not so hard in this case.
We should do a collaboration! My last song was a 22min drone track of me vacuuming a cat to a screwed version of "Venus in Furs". I call it, "Venus Cat Gets Fur Vacuumed".
hoorah! this is exactly what we've been waiting for, ever since our shared days in a cold farm house on a rural town intersection. we shoveled the driveway sometimes, occasionally ate donuts and often got cabin fever. those were good days. see you on the best coast...
