A native Californian of the Bay Area, Laurice grew up in Oakland around a huge musical environment. He found the joy of music at an early age of five, when he was singing in church, writing lyrics and making beats. With early influences such as James Brown, Motown, and Sly and the Family Stone, Laurice stays close to his groove roots. Inspired by world-class singers like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway, Laurice has been inspired to create his own great songs, beats, and thought-provoking stories. Because his inspirations have set such a high musical standard, Laurice delivers a wonderful musical montage -- and honors his mentors with his unique creations.
