On my website www.lauriecampbell.net under books, I always recommend Open To Channel by Sanaya Roman. This can really help people to start learning how to control their abilities, and learn about the process of working with ones own spirit guides.
Check out her website to see if this is right for you.

Do You Believe In Angels?
This picture was taken the
afternoon before the young man was to have surgery, at the time of
the picture being taken, prayers were being said for his
safe recovery, the photo has been tested for 2 years by
photograph professionals, and churches, and has been found
to be 100% real. To effectively get your
work out to the world, you will need to learn to detach from what
others think of you. It is important not to worry about being liked,
appreciated, or understood. You are at the forefront of a new
consciousness, and many of your ideas are new. It takes an evolved
person to appreciate new ideas. Learn to detach from needing praise or
validation; others may simply not be aware enough to see the value of
what you are doing. Learn to detach from people's reactions and value
your work according to your own internal sense of its worth.

Although today is declared Earth Day, every day should be Earth Day. I'm sure you've been hearing that said a lot recently. We should be grateful to live on such a planet as ours - filled with life and love. I am. Let's all keep it that way by caring for our planet and for the people and animals who live on it. :D Lots of love and peace! ~x Suzette

Come join my cause: In Memory of Brett Workman! You will be able to recruit friends, raise money, and add a profile badge to show your support!
As you can see In Memory of Brett Workman was started by Brett's friend Felicia Roark. I just found out about it yesterday and it was started 5 or 6 days ago. Brett and Felicia has been friends since a very early age. I have spoke to her a few times and know in my heart she loved Brett as a person so much. She had confided in me and told me how bad she had felt when Brett passed away. She did not get the chance to say good-bye. Brett transferred from the high school to MCA where he graduated from and just a month after graduation he was diagnosed. Then came the fight of his life. Burkitt's is one of the most aggressive cancers if not THE MOST AGGRESSIVE CANCER. It doubles in size every 16 hours. Brett was the Type of kid who never wanted to be center of attention nor did he ever want anybody to feel sorry for him. From the very begging he just wanted to kill the monster that had invaded his body and go on with his life. During his fight I would over hear some of his conversation with friends that he had went to SAHS or MCA and never would mention his cancer, and if they had found out he would always down play it. Always tell them he was all right. As you can see Felicia or anybody else should never feel bad. With school and treatment Brett was separated from so many kids that did not know or did not know the severity of his disease. This Cause was started by Felicia because that's who she is. She a huge heart and wants to "Raise Awareness of Burkitt's Lymphoma." I am hoping to add more info to this site in the near future.

I went and visited Brett today. It's been one year since he passed away. This was actually the first time I really said goodbye, but not in the forever since. It's hard, because he was such a life to love. Funny, caring, just joyful. I miss him. I usually think about him 495745 times a week. If I'm having a bad day, I think well what would Brett do, or why have a bad day because lifes so short felicia.
When Brett died, I cried for a week straight, every night. We werent best friends. I grew up with him. I WATCHED HIM GROW UP. Then all of sudden he's gone forever. I talk to him and try to feel better, because I've let myself down. I stopped talking to him. Not on purpose, but accidently. I feel horrible, but I'm sure he understands. I went to his grave site and just sat there. It was so beautiful and simple. The atmosphere was wonderful. Such a wonderful day to, especially to remember and rejoyce his life. I brought flowers, ehh, i know he probally wouldnt like them much if he were here, but they smell good.
i miss him. i dont feel like hes gone. hes here all around everyone. leaving little marks on us. for me, its the ability to forgive and forget because life is shorter than we think.
