Between solo performances and performances with her band, Laurie D and the Blues Babes, she has performed for hundreds of venues in and out of Colorado over the past 20 years. Laurie is extremely versatile and includes selections from folk, instrumental, pop, country, blues, and jazz that allow her to play a variety of venues. Laurie is also an active environmentalist and often incorporates her environmental/social originals into her shows and talks about issues to help educate audiences. She has performed for the Rocky Mountain chapter of Sierra Club and is a volunteer for ECOCYCLE in Boulder Colorado. Because of her passion for nature she has launched (2012) her "What Can I Do?" Multimedia Environmental Concerts. This is a 60-75 minute educational keynote presentation to raise awareness on environmental issues featuring the photography renowned John Fielder, Karl Snyder and live music of Laurie Dameron. It includes two trailers of award-winning documentaries and shares information that inspires simple lifestyle changes we can take immediate action on that will make a BIG difference in reducing our Carbon Footprint at a critical time in our history. Chinook Clubhouse (one of over 300 cluhouses around the world based on The Fountain House in NYC) helps persons with mental health issues in recovery with social, lunch and vocational programs. With a powerful stage presence she can engage even the most sober audiences.
