I like a bit of everything. Most of what I listen to is rock, pop, and alternative, but I have classical, heavy metal, country, and rap cd's.
Movies
Since the kids were born I haven't kept up with movies as much. We used to see movies at least once a week. Now maybe once every 6 months.
Television
All I watch anymore is a bit of HGTV with Kris, some Nick at night sitcom reruns, and the ocassional history channel program. Tv has taken a back seat to the computer for me.
Books
I read almost anything I can get my hands on from paperback novels to 19th century technical books.
Heroes
I'll have to put my paternal grandfather, Arthur LaVelle here. He always helped the various family members when they needed it, had a profound sense of fairness, and kept a sense of humor even on his deathbed.

About me: I'm a happily married 35 year old father of 3. I stay home with the children, Conner, Claire, and Logan (11, 7, and 5 years old) while my wife Kris works as a nurse. I bring in some extra money as a landlord, and hope to be running a profitable woodshop soon. For the past 4 years I've been buying and restoring Victorian era woodworking and metalworking machines with the ultimate goal of have a shop that can produce anything I want, including, cabinetry, furniture, architectural moldings, columns, and carvings. In order to get low cost lumber, I've demolished sagging barns, and even houses that were going to be bulldozed. I'll be posting in my blogs about these little adventures, and addng some pics as well.
