Law Abiding Citizen - The Movie's Blurbs
About me:

A psychopathic mastermind, captured for the murder of his wife's killers, threatens to unleash a gruesome killing spree across the city of Chicago unless he is released. The prosecuting attorney is usually a deal maker but this time stands his ground and refuses. As if on cue, innocent people start dying in horrifying ways - just as the prisoner warned. The city falls into chaos, with everyone calling for the attorney's head. Desperate, he comes to the realization that his decisions might be what created this horrifying vigilante, and he is the only one that can stop him.

Gerard Butler and manager Alan Siegel have created a new production shingle called EVIL TWINS and the first project out of the gate is this psychological thriller Law Abiding Citizen.

Frank Darabont will direct. The two will produce for Mark Gill, Neil Sacker and Robert Katz's the Film Department.

Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium) penned the screenplay. Warp Films' Lucas Foster and Wimmer are also producing.

Production is set to begin in October. On August 27, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office announced that the film is expected to start filming in Philadelphia in October, using City Hall and Holmesburg Prison, among other sites. Dates and locations are subject to change.

Excited about this film and Gerard's new production company EVIL TWINS? Leave us a comment and tell us how much!

Okay, since I can't explain it, I'll just report it. Totally out of character for me, but last night I dreamed I was watching this film. ??? Yeah, and I don't even do drugs. Imagine that. There was more to it, but being I'm supposedly psychic, I wonder what that means. Well, maybe I'm just excited?
Happy Week.

I'm really excited!! What can I say? I love Frank Darabont - he's one of my favorite film directors, so that is really my idea of movie heaven anyway. Kurt Wimmer wrote Sphere which I really enjoyed as it was edgy, creepy and a bit different. It also has Gerard Butler who is an excellent actor (as I for one would have left the wimp and run off with the Phantom, which rather took me by surprise at the time). Seriously though I'm particularly interested as Gerard is part of the production company and I think the best of him is yet to come, so I find the prospect of him producing and being so involved in the whole process and development and how this will translate to his character in the movie is really exciting as it could possibly unleash his unlimited potential as an actor... now that's the kind of movie that really gets me excited! =) So yeah, you all have my excitement and my best wishes with this project as I'm eager to see how it's all coming together.

Hey Evil Twins,

You should film in cold, wet, grey Glasgow.
That'd soon separate the men from the boys !

Best wishes.

As someone who prides herself on being one of Gerry's biggest fans, the idea of Evil Twins is the most exciting news I could have heard. Gerry is the most wonderful storyteller, and I just know that now he will be able to make the type of movies he has always dreamed of. I truly hope he gets Burns off the ground, as this has been on his heart for years.

I think that LAC will be the one to push Gerry right onto the top of Hollywood's A list - not necessarily something he might want, but I think this movie will be a great vehicle to show what he is truly made of. I look forward to more movies like this, Dear Frankie, Beowulf & Grendel (without the gods wreaking havoc on your set again), and other good STORIES to tell, that Hollywood seems to have forgotten exist.

I'm behind you, Gerry, 100 percent. And I am so proud to let the world know that I'm a fan.

See you on the 24th in San Diego!
