Mr. Battey's incendiary guitar work and soulful vocals, gives a face to the thunderous, funky drums of Christian Carlson (Berklee School of Music) and groovy bass lines of Jeff Brumley(dirty dale).
Injected with the influence of blues legends BB King and Albert King, and mixed with the fire and soul of Hendrix, James Brown, and Led Zeppelin, BaTTEY cooks up an intensely laid back groove. Their live shows will take you on a euphoric improvisational roller coaster ride leaving you wanting more! Many fans and critics have put Lawrence and the band in the ranks of Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Stevie Ray Vaughan!
