Then, in the Summer of '05, I thought it might be fun to go to a taping of Rock Star: INXS. So, on a sunny Sunday during the show's second week, I sauntered into CBS studios. And, like Peter Parker after that fateful science lab field trip, my life has not been the same since.

What started as a one-time outing turned into a summer-long odyssey, as I attended every Sunday taping from that point on. And each week I'd post these little reports online of what went on at the shows -- especially stuff that didn't make it on the air. But it was when the producers used my screenname in warning the studio audience of the evils of posting "spoilers" on the Internet that things got really wild. The resultant attention freaked me out a little at first; but, as the weeks went by and the shout-outs continued, I came to accept & appreciate the little part I played in the Rock Star universe.

Anyway, when Rock Star: Supernova rolled around the following year, I was once again front & center -- this time attending each & every show, and posting about them afterwards.

As a result of the wonderful craziness (and crazy wonderfulness) of both seasons of Rock Star, I have done things & gone places & had experiences I would not have imagined having a few years ago. But most importantly, I met -- and I continue to meet -- some of the most fabulous people it has ever been my good fortune to know.
