About me:
Lacrosse Evolution is a company that sponsors different camps and tournaments around the Tri-State Area. This includes the New Jersey Beaches, Chester County area and NOW DELAWARE!
The primary mission of Lacrosse Evolution is to enrich athlete's lives by providing outstanding lacrosse experiences. Our goal has been to help athletes of all ages enjoy as well as be educated about the sport of lacrosse. We strive to teach athletes how these lacrosse skills can be applied on the field as well as to their lives off the field. Most companies focus on making you a better Athlete or a better Lacrosse player we are focused on both. We are turning our campers into well rounded Lacrosse Athletes. Lax Evo has developed the concept of The Complete Lacrosse Athlete, which reflects our approach of addressing multiple dimensions of Lacrosse participation enabling Lacrosse athletes at all levels to get the very most from their Lacrosse experience. We are 100% focused on Girls and Boys youth and high school lacrosse athletes in the Tri State area.

VFMA Fall Training
Six Sundays of professionally coached lacrosse. Some of the best staff in the country are going to show how they became successful players.


This is the 5th year of the very popular Valley Forge Military Academy training sessions. We welcome ages 8-16. Please call us or email us for more information.

2009 Mens Lacrosse Fall Indoor League

2 Divisions:
  • Recreation – Adult recreation division, geared towards the “older” beginner and intermediate lacrosse player
  • Open – 18+ division, geared for the player looking for the highest level of competition

A high quality repetition involves catching and passing, shooting, and picking up ground balls the correct way. We teach the fundamentals that will help your son improve there game.

Sessions will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at 6:00PM. Fall Session #1 is 8 weeks long and will be followed by Fall Session #2. When filling out the registration please write in the comments section 1,2, or 3 nights a week, then bring your check on the first night of training.

The Philadelphia Youth Lacrosse All-Stars (P.Y.L.A.) will be holding tryouts for the 2008 season on January 20, 2008 at Tri State Sports in Aston, PA. Boys from the ages 10 to 15 are eligible to tryout but must be current US Lacrosse members prior to registration. Twenty players will be selected for each team. P.Y.L.A. was designed to give youth boys the opportunity to not only learn from some of the greatest lacrosse minds in the area but play against some of the best players from around the country their age. The purpose of the P.Y.L.A is to create an All-Star team for boys from greater Philadelphia area that will compete in three to four select tournaments around the country in the summer of 2008.
The teams will compete in the follow tournaments: • Long Island Big Time Shootout • Tri State Lacrosse Tournament • Evolution Games The coaching staff will be made up from some of the top coaches at the high school, college and professional level, along with top D1 and D3 players, as well as some of the top professionals playing the game today.

Congratulations Ryan Cranston on being a preseason 1st team All American for Lynchburg University. Ryan is a West Chester Henderson graduate and has been working for Lacrosse Evolution for the past 2 years as well as for Philadelphia youth Lacrosse All stars as a coach.
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Burlingame (CA) – The San Francisco Dragons of Major League Lacrosse announced today that Tom Slate has been hired as the team’s Head Coach for the 2008 season. Slate has served as assistant coach for the Philadelphia Barrage since 2005 and helped lead the Barrage to two consecutive MLL Championships (2006 and 2007). In addition to his duties with the Barrage, he is also the Head Coach at Downingtown East High School where he has been since 2004. His 2007 team won the Pennsylvania State Championship and in doing so he became the first coach to win a State Title as both a player (Springfield HS '92) and coach in Pennsylvania history. Prior to coaching at Downingtown East he served as Assistant Coach at Radnor HS (PA) helping to take Radnor to the State semis and finals in consecutive years. Slate graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Health and Physical Education with an emphasis in fitness. He was a 1st team All American selection at Essex Community College (MD) and a 1st team High School All American and Captain for Springfield HS (PA) State Championship team. He played for seven years with the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League where he helped the team win two World Championships in 1998 and 2001. He then played for the MLL’s Baltimore Bayhawks for one season. In addition, he was selected to represent the USA at the Heritage Cup. Currently he is the Owner of Lacrosse Evolution in Downingtown, Pennsylvania where he lives with his wife Stacy and daughter Rylee and son Lucas. “We are extremely fortunate to have a person of Tom's background and experience to join our organization” commented Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Locker. “Tom brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm, and we could not be happier having him as our Head Coach” Locker continued. "I'm privileged and excited to be selected as Head Coach of the San Francisco Dragons, and am eager to get started." commented Slate. "I have set goals in my mind for the team, and those goals are high. We have alot of work to do and I'm excited to get the Dragons into the elite teams in Major League Lacrosse" continued Slate.

Downingtown, PA – The Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse All Stars (P.Y.L.A.), the premier youth program in southeastern Pennsylvania, has announced the hiring of Joe Karpinski as the new General Director. P.Y.L.A. is excited that Joe will now be working full-time on organizing, planning and executing all P.Y.L.A. operations to ensure that P.Y.L.A. is “run at the highest standard possible.”
P.Y.L.A. was designed to give youth boys the opportunity to not only learn from some of the greatest lacrosse minds in the area but play against some of the best players from around the country their age. The purpose of the P.Y.L.A is to create an All-Star program for boys from greater Philadelphia area that will compete in three to four select tournaments from around the country in the summer of 2008.
As the General Director, Joe will handle the day-to-day operations of planning and running this elite all-star team. One of his main goals is to spend time developing top quality instructors year round and a program for each PYLA athlete.
Joe has served as an Assistant Coach at Ursinus College for the past 5 years. With his recruiting expertise, Joe has help put Ursinus College into the Top 20 in the nation in only their sixth year of existence.
Joe grew up in upstate New York where he played at Hudson Valley Community College and then University of New Haven. Currently, Joe resides in Exton, Pennsylvania with his lovely wife Joyce and son Garrett.

WE'VE MOVED!! Lacrosse Evolution Moves in to Downingtown Sports Facility Downingtown, PA - Who would have thought baseball and lacrosse could ever work in the same location? Lacrosse Evolution has teamed up with All Star Baseball Academy at their new facility off Boot Road in Chester County. Starting in December of 2007 Lacrosse Evolution will be running small group and one on one Lacrosse Specific and SAQ training at the 28,000 sq/ft indoor turf facility. Lacrosse Evolution has planned team SAQ and Lacrosse training for December through February leading up to the Spring ‘08 season.
These sessions will include everything your team needs to be faster, more agile and have their stick skills ready for the first day of the season. Don't waste time in the spring on basics! Get your team ready now! Whether you are training for a high school championship, college championship or Major League Lacrosse championship we have trained them all!
Winter Lacrosse Training offerings for Boys and Girls **Note: ALL training sessions can be customized to fit your team or individual needs

One on Ones:
o Work 1 on 1 with one of our professional lacrosse coaches
o Packages for One on Ones are minimums of 5 Sessions

I wanted to let all of you know about just a couple of our new leagues that are now open for Spring.
Below are some details:

Football

WCSSC will start both Coed Touch Football and Men's Flag Football on Sundays this Spring starting March 15th! The games will be played on fantastic outdoor turf fields so be sure to sign up soon! Registration is now open!

Volleyball

Coed 6v6 Volleyball @ Miller Gym will start March 9th.
Be sure to sign up soon to ensure your spot in the next great WCSSC League!

Basketball

Look for our new Men's Basketball league.
Games are on Tuesday nights starting March 10th!

Soccer

We have just secured some fantastic outdoor turf field space for Coed 7v7 soccer. You must have 4 men, and 3 women on the field at one time. Games will be on Wednesday Nights starting March 11th.
Registration is now open!

Kickball

Have you ever played kickball on the turf? It makes our favorite childhood game even more fun! Check out our 10v10 league starting March 11th.
