We are a record label who originated as an avenue to promote and distribute songs by two defunct Toledo groups back in 2004. KAROLI was a loose collective out of Barb's Basement inspired by Sun City Girls, No Neck Blues Band, Krautrock, and Hijokaidan among others. DEAD CONDORS was a side project that grew to represent the haunted basement of Toledo's Feltman Building and may resemble Captain Beefheart, The Swans, and that "Footprints" Christian inspirational plaque most seen in grandparents' houses. LAYAWAY BUTCH has also lent its services to current acts like PUFFY AREOLAS and HARD GOSPEL WITH CHILD, who have MYSPACE pages linked to this site. Spring 2008 will see two archival DEAD CONDORS CDRs making their way to a budget bin near you. Have no fear, diversity is near! August 2008 bears the significance of having a HARD GOSPEL WITH CHILD cassette being released. Bigger, Harder, Faster, and Shorter! This 18minute nazi rape fest is some of the most handsomely brutal stuff you'll injest this year. Feel free to ask me about it or jerk off over the phone or whatever it is that you do.
In the future, we hope to bring you archival releases of KAROLI, VHESTRONN CANNON, RIPPED KRAMPUS, HEDORAH, and THE CENTIPEDE OF MY MIND: A TRIBUTE TO ADAM MCCORT. Who knows, maybe even some other Toledo/Bowling Green/Cleveland/Columbus acts will want us to fuck up their legacies.

Sam Goldberg of Pizza Night Tapes was kind enough to put us on his label and let our “studio” visions bubble up to the street. You really need to buy this double cassette. Hell, if you enjoyed all of that hollering and clowny sadism on the DEAD CONDORS release, there is two separate tracks where I’m bellowing over some Brainbombs scree. "Harrigan's Blues: Ok Pussyface, It's Your Move" 2x c31 Puffy Areolas A full hour of sonic gunk recorded mostly by Damon, the head puffy and bass player, Dusty. Insanely fresh and concise release for one of the most insanely off-kilter rock projects going right now. Absolutely in the zone four-track recordings that capture lo-fi psych scum basement rock and a wide variety of instrumental tracks that really make this entire release HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. Heavy guitar fuzz explorations of cosmic kraut'esque realms. Beautiful synth gnarl and killer jams through and through. Sonic experiments that leave you feeling as if you are being flushed down some giant neon green polka-dotted toilet bowl. You may have checked them out with their recent additions of Cleveland radio psych guru, Steve Newton (Krauty McKraut) on vocals and John Elliot of Emeralds on synthesizer but you've likely never heard them as fully realized as they are on "Harrigan's Blues".
