Rodeo and hard work have been a big factor in my life. I started riding calves when I was 6 years old. I was 13 when I rode my first full grown bull. I was a member of Jr Rodeo and High School Rodeo Association. I later joined the InterMountain Pro Rodeo Association. I also team roped with my brother Cory. I remember being in a cramped car with my other rodeo buddies and traveling from one rodeo to the next. Winning awards and getting bucked off went hand in hand.
Finally meet the love of my life and married Debbie in June, 1996.
I released my first album in February, 2005 Stole em Fair n Square. It is a variety of old cover tunes by Moe Bandy, George Strait, Asleep at the Wheel, Robert Earl Keen and Web Pierce. These are songs I listened to when I was traveling from rodeo to rodeo and wanted to bring life back into the old traditional country music.
My 2nd album is called "The Hill Behind the House." It is a collection of 7 origional songs from hit writers from Nashville. I have the honor of recording songs by Cal Sweat, Larry Hack, Bob Simon, Steve Clarke, Roger Cook, Jim Allison, Brent Curns, and Bill Whyte.
I returned from Nashville end of September where I recorded 2 more new songs to be included in this album when they are completed.
