Cantautora y bailarina, LA YENI siempre se ha expresado como artista desde su infancia. Nacida en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y haber vivido en Inglaterra, Canadá, Los Estados Unidos, y España, LA YENI ha tenido la oportunidad diversificar su música e incorporar nuevos estilos a su baile también.
LA YENI participó en la compañía Opus 1 Dance Company, y además fue bailaora invitada para Pasion Y Arte Flamenco Dance Company en Filadelfia. En 2002 formó parte de Blue Canvas, un proyecto musical que hizo con su hermano, que produjo un disco y dos videoclips. En 2005, salió a la venta un CD y DVD de un show en vivo, grabado y filmado al GrapeStreet Philadelphia, y producido por Phil Nicolo y Skip Drinkwater. A lado de su álbum, tocaba múltiples shows por la costa este de los Estados Unidos. En 2007 salió su segundo disco, LA YENI EP por ITUNES, Rhapsody, Emusic y Napster que hizo la producción junto a su hermano.
Empezó tocar el piano y bailar el ballet cuando tenía 3 años. Estudiaba con las instituciones mas prestigiosas del mundo, inclusive a The Royal Conservatory of Music, the National Ballet School, The Royal Academy of Dance (Toronto, Canadá), y The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC). A las 12 años, empezó componer música y escribir sus propias letras, y luego componía para otros proyectos musicales. Después de estudiar la voz clásica (con Suburban Music School) decidió dedicar su tiempo de estudio con Katie Agresta (NYC). Mientras estudiaba la música y el baile, participó con People's Light and Theatre Company (PA),Teatro Viento Sur (Sevilla, España), y el London Academy of Media, Film and TV (Londres, RU).
En 2005 LA YENI se fue a Sevilla, España para perseguir su pasión para el arte flamenco. Estudiaba con Felipe Mato (Taller Flamenco), Alicia Márquez, Pastora Galván, Rafaela Carrasco, y Alejandro Granados. También estudiaba percusión y el cante con Taller Flamenco. Ya en Los Ángeles, quiere seguir con sus proyectos, y compartir su música dinámica y arte innovador con el mundo.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and having lived in England, Canada, the United States and Spain, LA YENI has naturally been inspired by different cultures and their music. Deeply influenced by Flamenco, Salsa, and Latin rock and pop, La Yeni is naturally drawn to the music of Gustavo Cerati, Las Orishas, Celia Cruz, and El Bicho.
LA YENI incorporates years of dance training as singer-dancer backed by her new band. LA YENI had been a mainstay on Delaware Valley stages for several years, and has now come to Los Angeles to inject her infectuous new sound into the local music scene.
LA YENI has studied with some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, the National Ballet School in Toronto, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC.
Now, with her new EP released through ITUNES, LA YENI is gearing up to send out her exciting, driving, electrifying new sound to LA, Latin America, and beyond!
