interested in having your picture on our page, but have a story you
want to share with us please feel free to post it in our blog or

We would love to hear it... (For example, I have a new rescue here,
sweet little guy that has decided it would be ever so fun to help me
send out comments by walking over the keyboard, and using my hair as a
cat toy.... now if only I could teach him how to enter captcha codes!!!!).
We have a very diverse group of
friends and we appreciate and welcome everyone, and strongly encourage
those of you that are not in our area to seek out an organization in
your area... It is amazing what a difference one person can make...
Thanks to all of our friends for showing us your support!!!!
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I came across some stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

From mass police brutality during the RNC, to the everyday brutality against people of color and poor people in the streets and in the jails. Something has to be done to end their reign of terror. • We need a real civilian review authority that holds cops accountable and isn’t just a rubber stamp agency! • End beatings and abuse in jails - and prosecute the brutal jailers! • No more bogus charges against police brutality victims. Prosecute brutal cops! • Drop ALL charges against the RNC arrestees - Dissent is not a crime! • Fire cops who lie in police reports or in court!
We must let the authorities know that we will no longer be silent in the face of police brutality!
