LazyBaby Bulletin Board:

"LazyBaby step up to the plate with a sleek and polished sound, lending pop melody to soul, funk and reggae rhythms. At home with the chic underground style of HiFi, this band has an incredible knack for smooth groves and sultry bar room tones. Their striking front woman carries off the soulful finesse of the songs, with a distinct fire behind her voice, but enough modesty to show a little tenderness.
Undoubtedly she is propped up by the proficiency across the rest of the band, as they deliver an expert sound with little hesitation between numbers. A meticulously executed set."
Leeds Music Scene By Tom Keighley

The Raising Malawi event at Leeds University was a fantastic success raising thousands of pounds for this very important charity. Many thanks to all who came down. Please support the charity at www.raisingmalawi.org.

"Lazybaby were mighty fine on the Doc Brown stage. Not your usual "local band" this lot. They groove beautifully and their singer has a brilliant voice."
Gazette Live
Music Live festival review

“…bring those dreamlike qualities back to the fore with one of the hottest jazzed up, funked out, concept bands ever to hit the market in recent times with the very sultry, very sensual and eclectic Lazybaby. These new school funkers have on numerous occasions over the last six months or so, ripped it up at previous events we have staged and this event should be no exception. Believe me if you miss this performance you will be very sorry, because this band is on the way up, in fact they’re on a journey to the stars, you’ve heard it hear first.” Funktion Live 2008

LazyBaby would to thank:

'Freethinking Productions' for the amazing video of 'Good Girl'
'Pop Creative' for the design of the 'Good Girl' single cover
Mr. Marvellous for all his support. You know who you are ;)
Mike Walker @ Tapebank for all his hard work and support over the last year

Hello, <br />We are playing the lovely Cardigan Arms on the 21st of March. Being foreigners from Sheffield, it would be grand if you could pop in and see us and bring a few other Leedsies with you if you are free. <br /> <br />Here are a few nice things people have said about us. Have a listen on our page and see if you like what we are up to <br /> <br />"AN AMAZING LIVE ACT, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN" (Sandman Magazine) <br /> <br />"AN IMPRESSIVE SET FROM A BAND WITH A KNACK FOR WRITING CATCHY SONGS AND DELIVERING THEM LIVE AS WELL AS IN THE STUDIO" (Sandman Magazine) <br />"PROMISING SONG WRITERS" (Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6) <br /> <br />"THESE DAYS I FIND THRASH AND POWER POP A BIT REPETITIVE, BUT THIS WAS REMINISCENT OF MORRISSEY WHILE STILL BEING PERSONAL, I HEAR THE POSSIBILITY OF A GOOD FUTURE. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU COULD SUPRISE US ALL ONE DAY". (Paul Gambaccini, BBC Radio 6) <br /> <br />Anyway, it would be nice to see you there. <br /> <br />All The Best <br />The Unfortunate Incident
