Hello everybody! I am lazybones and I am born! Currently residing in
the leafy hovel of Chorlton-cum-Hardly. Manchester. A boney-fried
casualty from the battle of day-to-day, fought between me, myself and I.
I play my music for all to enjoy. I am hellbound, therefore have nothing to

hi everyone, here's our line up for the next month at the deaf institute... and i can assure you every night is full of bloody great bands and the best leftfield dj's! we're totally happy for any of our friends to get as many people as they like on the £3.00 guestlist every week so tell your friends and keep'em coming. if you haven't been yet the venue itself is wprth popping your head in.. truly beautiful! we can also sort anyone out with free entry if you can help us do a little promo about the nights. it's tricky being based in london and trying to do a weekly up north so if anyone wants to get involved getting this amazing night off the ground and spreading the word about exceptional new bands then just give us a shout.. hope to see y'all soon.. x
Long live my friends...Wow!!!Beautiful, Pristene, Amazing, Happy, Powerful,Overwhelming! You did a good job there brother. One day though, i hope you do a version of it where a drummer goes absolutely bonkers in the middle of it for a dance friendly version of it!I'll be on that dance floor for it, you can count on me.Well done Lazy Bones and keep up the good work...
hey y'all, we've got a last minute xmas redbricks booked in at dulcimer this thursday dec 20th and it promises to be a beauty. it's only £3 on the door as we want to get it nice and busy due to the presence of the guardian who are gonna be around for the evening to do a big piece on the burgeoning manchester folk scene.
they've decided our nights at dulcimer are the perfect place to conduct their interviews and photo shoots so it'd be nice if you can all join us and confirm their suspicion that there really is something to write home about...
the malodies of bellafontaine, john stammers, nancy elizabeth and neil burrell all play live from 8 o'clock with the usual redbricks dj's playing allsorts of eclectic folk/psych rarities..
spread the word for us folks.. xxx
Our bass player is leaving and his final gig with us is tomorrow night, come down if you're free and we'll all give him a good send off.

I think Jogga's coming too. Bring the orange garlands & garnish with some ooh la la's & we might just have number 8!
THEN, ladies & the jaundiced, on the following Satday 28th it has been decreed by a charter of obscene emission that the occasion of Mr Matt External-Bow-Gizmo-Danger-Men-ace's birthday celebration shalt be at The Castle. This shalt be FREE too & shall have bands on all day, from whenever Matt gets there I guess...
Among the performers generously and graciously waiving their fees to pay honour in sufficient style...

We're on quite late, but get down early and you'll also get to see Denis Jones, Dan Melrose, Robert John, and DJ Dunk le Chunk (Red Deer Club). It's a no-brainer.
The past is a gated community, they don't want your sort round there.

The Good Hurt play a special live acoustic/electronic set this Friday 11th May @ The Koffee Pot, Manchester. Guest vocalists and friends will be joining us on the night as part of Futuresonic festival. This will include lyrical excursions from Brother Ghazi and the What supreme and the soulful tones of Annette. Were also followed up by the positiveky rocking Geekgirl.
It's bring your own booze and starts 5:30pm sharp! Bound to be a cracker. Hope you can make it. Thanks, TGH
Little Neemo will be singing pretty songs about ugly things at Green Bohemia, the Green Room this saturday. There's no charge, and there's plenty of other acts from 8.00 or so - we're on at 9.30. Free sympathy with every drink purchased.
So the Greens gained 4 councillors, and the BNP lost one. There's still hope for us yet.
Thought I'd just drop you a message to remind you about the Joshua Brookes gig on the 9th next week. We've been moved up to the headline slot so it should be a class nite. Will be good if you can make it, bring as many others as you you can. No doubt Will see you before then, take care
Tom
