Eric Gordon and the Lazy Boys music group is one of new orleans premier bands.The band consist of
Eric Gordon Jr. on trumpet/vocals,Matt Clark and John Marcey on guitar/vocals,Devin Kerrigan on bass guitar,and Nick
Solnick on percussion.The band performs a wide variety of music from alternative rock to funk,blues to
hip hop,and even jazz.The band has originals that will keep you entertained from begining to end,plus
play cover songs by Maroon 5,Katy Pery,Fall Out Boys,Micheal Jackson,and Louis Armstrong to name a few.
The Lazy Boys perform an exciting and high energy show.This band will have you clapping your
hands,jumping up and down,and moving your body like never before.This band hasn't been around very
long but everyone who hears them enjoys.There entertainment level is so high they have artist such as
Rebirth brass band,Shamarr Allen,Glenn David Andrews,Trombone Shorty and Orleans Ave.,Big Sam's
Funky Nation,Stooges brass band,and the Soul Rebels to name a few.
Eric and the Lazy Boys go against old tradition saying trumpets can only play blues and jazz and
switching it up and playing alternative rock and pop.Eric has started using an effects pedal which brings the
whole "trumpets can't play rock" theme to a hault.The Lazy Boys is one of the best shows in new orleans.
