Hard work and determination is nothing new for the self proclaimed Lambo Flow who is currently one of the games most talented rapper/mc’s. Sheldon "Lazy Jaw" Powell Born March 2 1985 grew up in the crime infested mean streets of West Side Toronto in an infamous neighbourhood known as Stove Top/Doomztown. As a child Lazy Jaw was subjected to poverty living in a government home with little in life. His mother, who is a single mother of 4, had struggled through life to make way for her children but was unable at times to do so. This forced Lazy to venture into the streets of crime where he was later sucked into the stardom life of a drug dealer. Close street legends of the corner went on to teach Lazy about the runnings of the streets and how to play the game. This is where he later on began watching guys of the corner, where they would rap and battle for fun during their spare time. Determined to be as good or even better then the competition, Lazy started practicing rhymes over Biggie Smalls songs which was his idol of rap at the time. Later on as he mastered flow and delivery, Lazy would then begin rapping at school and in the neighbourghood for people to hear his new found skill. Close friends noticed Lazy had been improving with rap and started setting up rap battles for him all over Toronto. As always Lazy would show case his skills to overcome all competition that came his way by crushing mc's with his catchy flow and hard punch line delivery. It didn't take long for Lazy to establish his name in the streets as a rapper with much talent on the rise. Being on the streets had steered Lazy away from rap at times due to other priorities at hand. At the age of 17, Lazy had already appeared in two stage shows including Canadian Music Week in 02’ with a known artist at the time Jellee Stone and J.C.A Centre where he became a fan favourite in mere minutes of strictly free styling. He also appeared on Dj Shadow’s and Ghetto Concept’s mix tapes and completed a mix tape of his own which has been put in a category of lost tapes. In 07’ Lazy joined forces with the late Shawn "Sparky" Callum to start a label in which Shawn would play his manger. Sparky helped push Lazy's name around the city and created contacts to help peruse his new golden artist. Later on that year Sparks tragically passed away leaving Lazy with no option but to take his rap potential into his own hands. As Lazy continued to follow his career to other heights, he unfortunately made a wrong turn into the law’s hands and spent little time in jail. As he made bail Lazy came out of incarceration more determined and motivated to push his rap career after seeing prison as time well wasted. In 09’ Lazy had completed his house arrest and is currently finishing up his highly anticipated mix tape "The Push Over" and also working on his album which includes some very versatile music. Lazy is ready to prove his worthiness to the world and is ready to stimulate the globe by bringing excitement and skill back to the game!!!
