hmm...i wish i had loads of interesting things that i get up to but i'm afraid i don't! i'm usually to be found hanging out with my damiens, faffing about .. or just chillin' at home.
Each hogmanay the damiens and i sit down and choose which charities we will support the coming year. This year it's been Amnesty International, Oxfam and Unicef with £3 donations to each per month. i know it's not a lot, but it really doesn't take that much to make a wee difference in this world.
i have actually udpdated this for 2007, it's just that we decided to keep helping the same ones!!

Music
last band i went to see were Good Charlotte in Glasgow on the 23rd May. they were really good, but the sound mixer let them down...could hear bass and drums, but could hardly hear the vocals at all. pah!
i love most genres of music, particularly rock, emo, easy listening, prog rock and folk.
i must admit though, my musical influences these days are bands that my damiens, my niece and my bro listen to.

Am now 37 years young...got here by growing old without growing up!
Moved to Helensburgh a year and a half ago with the damiens. They love it, especially their new school. i don't mind it here...there's a lot to be said for civilisation (well, of sorts anyway!)
In general, i tend to lose interest in things quickly. i'm a starter, but rarely a finisher. i go through periods of intense interest, followed by periods of even more intense boredom. i have many, many interests, but no real passions. Unless conversation counts as a passion? Then i would be considered very passionate indeed! i get distracted very easily and can...oh look, a butterfly...
tee hee. i mostly love to learn (often through books and film) and to experience new things. If i had more money and less attachments at home, i would definitely travel more. But for the most part, i am content to read of others' journeys and imagine the world through their eyes.
Before i'm 40 i really want to try parachuting and/or skydiving. That'd be fun...i hope!
All my friends listed on here i either know in person or i've chatted with them .....such cool people. i'm sure there are some folks out there that just 'collect' friends on their sites...but i'm not interested in that.

Doing good here! I am enjoying my cold weather. I thought the terrible drought we had was going to kill me! LOL! It was in upper 90s Fahrenheit and 100s for about a month and the city water went bad! Now I'm driving myself and everyone crazy with my viola! I've picked it up again to learn to play and I'm getting somewhere. I just wish it were getting there a lot faster at learning it. Maybe when I get good enough I'll play you the American and the Scottish anthem! LOL! Take care!!!!
