The story of the LBPP is a long one with many cringing plot twists and ass-clinching
suspense... but for the drunken masses I will dumb it down a bit. Original inspiration
for the Long Beach Party Project came one lazy Sunday afternoon outside the movie
theater. After this fourth time seeing "Old School", Scott and Shea were talking
about the Snoop Dogg scene and what it would really take to get LB's very own
to perform at a backyard party. A fierce debate ensued and finally we decided
that Snoop Dogg WOULD be down for such a party... and not just any party, but
OUR party. Thus the Long Beach Party Project was born, with the original intent
of facilitating a backyard boogie featuring the Doggfather himself.
In the early stages
the site was nothing more then just a place to post the pictures from the party's
we had. Many a party has been had and the LBPP name is on the rise. Between the bangin' club nights downtown, the holiday house parties, and the Party Bus being built, the potential impact on the great city of Long Beach, CA is more then obvious. Today LBPP has evolved into much MUCH more, and who knows where it will
end up in the future. One thing is for sure though, no matter how much things
change one thing always remains the same:
"WE PARTY".
