1995 : From fire to flames…
This is how it started. A couple of friends getting together with a fiery thirst for old school hardcore…embroiled in the positive stance in our scene and the lifestyle…in our Lion City.
1996 : Making our presence…
We emerged with two contributions to the compilation - Rage Generation: a new hope. Another solid example of how the Lion City Hardcore scene can collaborate signifying our unity. More lessons have been learnt and more to explore…learning to expand our views on a fragile society and the world at large.
1996 - late 97 : Seasons change…life rearranged….
National service and other personal commitments slowed down Recover’s progress. A line-up change was inevitable as Recover saw the departure of two beloved members of the band. Sharan switched from the guitars to drums and fairuz-T from bass to guitars. The search was on for a new vocalist and bassist.
Two new friends joined the Recover cause.Ezar from Voiceout filled the void in vocals and Ratnor, a former schoolmate of Sharan’s, took the helm at bass.
1998 – present : Keeping the flames burning …again
We featured in several gigs where we gained increased support for our music. We did not bother if the gigs we played produced the desired financial outcome or the desired response…all we cared about was the fun we had and the fun the audience would feel. We played and rocked hard!
