About me:

Greetings! I am, as my handle indicates, a pastor of a church that is part of the Lutheran Church, Missouri SYnod. I have an awesome wife, who is a school teacher. I am also your basic computer geek/musician, who likes sarcasm and irony. ALso read a lot, everything from advanced theology to fantasy science fiction and naval histories. Favorite authors include Raymond Feist, Alexander Kent, and a 16th century chap named Martin Chemnitz. I also have some pretty sharp kids I worked with in my catechism class, one who introduced me to this place. Though I don't tell them often, I am proud of them all, as they struggle with growing up in a world that doesn't appreciate their faith. THey struggle with that, and that is why I am proud, many these days don't have the courage to challenge their faith, or the trash the world and rock music can toss at them. My blog contains my weekly sermons, right around 1800 words that remind you of why you need God, and that He is there to fulfill those needs.
