PEACE and LUV Y'all! Thank you SO SO SO much for all of the LUV for Jayd!!! Y'all are keeping a sistah busy! The next 3 VOLUMES will be released in a few months. Until then, y'all can check back for sample chapters from the upcoming novels, as well as information on Amazon Shorts (lil mini-electronic books). I am enjoying the success of my new novel series, DRAMA HIGH (available EVERYWHERE books are sold), targeted towards African American young adults. The series takes place in Compton, California with the main character, Jayd Jackson, moving between her home world and a white high school in the South Bay of Los Angeles. She deals with all of the typical teenage drama like cheating boyfriends and fights with hatin' females but has the help of her mystical grandmother, Mama, to see her through. This series is closely related to my own experiences and anyone who has ever gone to high school a day in their life can feel Jayd's journey. So far, there are 6 published NOVELS(out of 44) with the first, THE FIGHT, debuting in OCTOBER, 2006 followed by SECOND CHANCE in DECEMBER and JAYD'S LEGACY in FEB. 2007. The next 3, FRENEMIES, LADY J and Courtin' Jayd, will be released JANUARY, MARCH AND SEPTEMBER, 2008. I am a native of Compton, California. I have lived in Jamaica and now reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I have spent much time in Ghana, Puerto Rico and various other cities and states and what nots;) I have two beautiful children and love my life as a writer/educator/life-long student.     Dear L.DIVINE,
    your books are a one of a kind. seriously. so i bought the fourth book first. i didnt know what drama high was, i was just at borders, and i seen the book with teens on it and got it. lol. as i started to read it, i was like, this doesnt seem like thisis starting at the begining of the story. so iloked on the side of the book and it said, vol. 4. i was soooo mad. i called my mama, and was like, we gotta go to borders quick ma. haha. so we did. and they didnt have 1-3. so we had to order them. and when they came. i read them. then ifinished number 4 and was hooked on drama high ever since. im now on book 7. almost done though. and my ma is ordering number 8 today. i know its qonna be good. but i just want to say thanks for creating such an intense, interesting, and real book. inever enjoyed reading until i found drama high. you inspire me... and i cant wait until more books come out. and a movie. cough cough. lOl. ily. !
