"Live every day like its your what? LAST DAY LIVING!" A common salute used by Dallas, TX based Hard Rock act before they take the stage, or take a drink. And they have a lot to salute. Just one year after the release of their debut LP "Dead on Arrival" Last Day Living has made a significant impact on the Dallas, TX music scene. LDL, has proven to be a headliner at venues such as Curtain Club, The Vampire Lounge, The Red Blood Club, Firewater Bar and Grill. Just one month after the release of "Dead on Arrival" LDL was invited to Headline the Oriental Theater on February 23rd in Denver, CO. Not having a strong fanbase in Denver it was a challenge, but LDL proved they could win any audience, selling multiple copies of their album and being asked for repeat shows in a city that was over 16 hours from their fanbase. Over the next several months LDL began headlining major Dallas venues and opening up for many big name Dallas bands including new Global Music Group band Early Pearl, Neverset, Overscene, Pimpadelic, and Austin, TX based group Ember. LDL, began to develop a driving and passionate hard rock sound in late 2006 when the band was comprised of Paris Pipkin(rythm guitar), Shawn Pipkin(lead guitar), Josh Horn(drums), Justin Ranton(vocals), and Joe Sloan(Bass). Whats up Crew??? Round up everybody and come to the biggest show of the year for Robert Miguels Birthday. Major band ass bands this nite from start to finish featuring Lame, Pit, Adakain and of course S.A.O. There will be an afterparty afterwards and then we are off to Houston again on Saturday. um... wow not having the internet has really fucked me. wtf happened to justin? i've had all my shit jacked and no longer have any of my local music memorabilia. no shirts. no stickers. no cds. and i no longer have a car so getting to shows has been friggin impossible. i was living on the streets for the last few months having the worst time. finally last weekend i accidentally met some older guys who all run a buisness together selling insurance and they needed someone to set their appointments for them. i needed somewhere safe to sleep. got my own room and work whenever the hell i want to. and seriously need to get my phone turned back on. someone please tell me what the hell has happened with ldl. and why am i not in the top friends anymore?
You guys were amazing at Six Flags! I can almost swear that you are better live than on the CD!! You guys can play, sing, and perform! So much better than other bands nowadays. Keep up the good work and good luck to you guys
You guys fuckin kicked ass at six flags on the 29th (May). I was there with my friend we showed up about halfway in to the first set you guys did and loved what we heard. You guys should put up the vids you took so i can try to see myself lol. I was the only long haired guy there in the flannel shirt. Any way enough of my pointless rambling. Just wanted to say fuckin love your shit guys and Paris thanks for the autograph.
