It's nice to see some people have a sense of humour about this particular track, and the current media-created youth movement that exists in the minds of middle-aged record company bosses and the producers of Skinzzzzzz. Obviously the only people who would object to such a pointed lampooning are the kinds of people that didn't get that Nathan Barley was a piss-take, not a documentary. Funny stuff. : )

The Curmudgeon	Sep 30 2007 1:19 AM I heard this song months ago (before anyone knew who the likes of Nash and Penate were), and it really is an awesome piece of work. I've tried playing this to a few people and they switch off as soon as they hear the first vocals and the crappy beat, but they're missing out on a track that (quite rightly) rips the piss out of the million Lily Allen clones that are going around. I can imagine this site won't last much longer (how long can the appeal of a spoof of scenesters last?) and that is a real shame. Sorry to get all serious here but the fact The Guardian were thinking it could be Chris Morris behind all this says it all really. Fuck me, guys - what a song.
