Based out of Branson, Missouri, the Country Music Show capital of the world, a band whose heavy and aggressive music personifies its members frustration of living in an area saturated by country music. An area where there is no scene to showcase their brand of metal music.
How does a band compensate for that?
They decide to lock themselves in rehearsal mode, orchestrate a sound so heavy and powerful it requires a name that is just as visually descriptive...
That name is Leadboot Marathon.
The members that make up this brutalizing machine are comprised of 2 musician/brothers whose influences span over three decades and cover a broad spectrum of music ranging from the soulful feel of Blues to the aggressive accuracy of Speed/Death Metal. These influences have given them a common ground to create a sound that is fresh and allows them to be the identity that comes most natural.
With one full length release under their belt, these guys are poised to take their well deserved shot at the next level and bring fresh, new music to a somewhat stagnet and processed industry.
The sound is heavy. The songs are powerful and unapologetic. The album is a blueprint for structured intensity that can appease the appetite for the most frenzied of metal fans from the mainstream of Godsmack to the underground integrity of Slayer. This is a band that pounds a sonic assault like only their namesake can describe.

Miss you too bro. We had some badass times playing in Leadboot together. It is only in retrospect that I can begin to fully appreciate and learn from those experiences.
