"What do you mean you don't believe in homosexuality? It's not like the Easter Bunny. Your belief isn't necessary."
"I can't discriminate? Oh, that's ripe, coming from a straight white man. What's the matter, baby doesn't feel like he belongs? Well why don't you try a place that was set up just for you? Like the world!"
"As a standup, I try to change the world. As an entertainer, I try to entertain. And as a lesbian, I try to pick up the prettiest girl in the room."
"It's a cosmic joke that I'm a lesbian, because I understand men so well but women are a complete mystery to me."
"A woman will allow herself to be clouded by her emotions. Her reasonable thought becomes completely unreasonable over the most ridiculous thing. It's a girl thing."
"No one has the responsibility to be out to anyone but himself or herself. I made my choice a million years ago."
"I tend to like very bitchy women. I find myself most attracted to smart, sarcastic, bitchy women."
"Straight girls like me. They flirt with me to get whatever they want. Of course it works."
"Now everyone's decided that all lesbians wear lipstick!"
"They are preserving the sanctity of marriage, so that two gay men who've been together for twenty-five years can't get married, but a guy can still get drunk in Vegas and marry a hooker at the Elvis chapel! The sanctity of marriage is saved!"
Check out Lea in the short film by Richard Currier, Become A Big Hairy Dyke. Click here to see it on YouTube.
As a Broadway Diva, Lea stopped the show eight times a week with her award-winning portrayal of "Hildy" in the New York revival of the musical On the Town. You can see a clip of her singing "I Can Cook, Too" by clicking here.
Lea crossed genders several times on Broadway. Watch her sing and dance as the leather-jacketed, pompadoured "Eddie" (she also played "Dr. Scott") in the Rocky Horror Show cast's performance at the 55th Annual Tony Awards. Click here to check it out. ("It's just a jump to the left...")

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."
"DJ Monkey …soul-stirring, excitingly edgy music…just disturbing (read ‘mind-f**king’) enough to demand attention. There is a whole spice rack of auditory flavors here, served up like fractured poetry on a collection of intensely listenable Hallmark cards from Hell." Bill Margold, Cinema Seen, L.A. X..Press
