Hello everyone - I setup this page mainly to share my music, which will be posted soon. I'm 43 years old, happily married to my wonderful wife and best friend (who has been with me now for 15 years). We have two cats. I live above 10,000 ft. in the central Rockies of Colorado. I love the mountains (must be the old Taoist in me); the silence and moments of inner reflection experienced in this environment make me feel ... good.
I spent most of my life writing and playing rock music. After laying off for a few years, I've been recently inspired to write and perform again. After moving through life for awhile (and maybe even gathering a little wisdom), I have a few things to share.
Years of playing music helped me discover a personal place inside, which inspired me to seek out universal truths and answers, understand them, and live my life accordingly - which I believe is the sole purpose for being human.
After flipping over many rocks, I came across something quite profound when I read the book "Zhuan Falun" in 2002, and began the practice of Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong). It is difficult to describe the beauty, simplicity and profound truth of this spiritual practice, and my words wouldn't really do it justice. It is the real thing. I'm trying to say things now as a songwriter that are quite challenging, as the words and melody seem limited when it comes to expressing what's inside me these days. But it's a challenge I welcome, and in the near future, when I post my music, maybe you'll let me know if there's something there...
My day job is computer/network service (rebuilding a RAID 5 with two failed drives for a government server as I type this up in the wee hours - OUCH). I like getting older, would do it the same way all over again (including the lumps), and look forward to the challenges of walking a straight line, being a good person, and gaining a little more wisdom along the Way.
