    Lead Zeppelin – Story of the Band Im Sommer 2006 gründete Drummer Roby Misiejuk die Band Lead Zeppelin und erfüllte sich damit einen lang gehegten Traum. Vorausgegangen war eine lange Zeit des Suchens nach Gleichgesinnten, die ebenso "Zepinfect" sein sollten wie er selbst, denn bei so einem Projekt müssen einfach viele Dinge passen. Es folgte ein Jahr intensives Proben und Vorbereiten. Musikalisches Ziel war – eben nicht nur zu covern – sondern das Songmaterial aus Eigenanspruch und Respekt vor dieser großen Band so authentisch als möglich zu präsentieren. Auch in Bezug auf Instrumentarium macht man keine Kompromisse. Zum Einsatz kommen nur authentische Vintageinstrumente. Lead Zeppelin freut sich für ein Publikum zu spielen, welches die Songs von Led Zeppelin und deren außergewöhnliche Melodien noch immer in ihrem Herzen trägt und freut sich noch ein wenig mehr über ein Publikum, dass die musikalischen Facetten und Detailarbeit in der Präsentation von Lead Zeppelin erkennt. Einhellig klingt es aus den vier Kehlen der Bandmembers: "We've done four already but now we're steady". (Count-in: John Bonham / The Ocean) In the summer of 2006 drummer Roby Misiejuk fulfilled a long-held dream and founded the band Lead Zeppelin. This event had been preceded by a lengthy search for like-minded musicians who were just as " Zeppelin-mad" as he was, because in a project like this all the parts have to fit together perfectly. There followed a year of intensive rehearsal and preparation. The musicians' goal was not simply to cover the songs, but to perform them as authentically as possible – both for their own satisfaction and out of respect for such a great band. Nor were any compromises made when it came to the instruments. Only authentic vintage instruments are used. Lead Zeppelin is happy to play for an audience that still carries Led Zeppelin's songs and their remarkable melodies in their hearts, and is even happier to appear before an audience that recognizes the musical nuances and finesses in the performances of Lead Zeppelin. As the band's four members proclaim with one voice: "We've done four already but now we're steady".     Hallo,

    habe Euch am Sonntag mit meinem Bruder in Brühl gesehen. Ihr habt den Abend noch mal gerettet. Echt super Show. Obwohl ich jetzt weiß, dass Robi ein paar Probleme mit seinen Händen hat, schlug er noch mal richtig zu mit "Mobi Dick". Kann es gut nachvollziehen als ehemalige Schlagzeugerin. Ihr seit immer wieder sehenswert und werde auch weitere Konzerte von Euch besuchen. Ich hoffe Ihr werdet dann technisch besser ausgestattete und tolerantere Veranstalter haben. Echt spießig die Brühler mit Ihrer s.g. Sperrstunde. Grins. Also, alles Liebe. Eure Jassi

    Hi Roby,
    als ich Euch und besonders Dich am Sonntag in Köln erspüren konnte, habe ich mir gewünscht, dass alle Menschen in Köln, die nix besseres zu tun haben als sich im karnevalistischen Getümmel den letzten Geist weg zusaufen und Autofenster einzuschlagen, den Weg zu Euch gefunden hätten. Ich wurde wieder mal bestätigt, dass Schlagzeugspielen das beste Heilmittel gegen Frust ist. Ich konnte meine Augen kaum von Dir wenden. Bonham läßt grüßen.
    Wir sehen uns im Mai in Brühl wieder und dann hoffe ich, dass Du auch ohne demoliertes Auto Deine Moby Dick- mäßige Kraft zeigst.
