Biography
Crowned winner of BET's first season of "WELCOME TO DREAMLAND" began crafting her sound when a family friend brought over an old beat up two- stringed guitar to her Los Angeles home. As her dad would put it, “she just walked over and started playing, her fingers moved like butterfly wings”. Inspired by the sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan Charlie Parker, and Mahalia Jackson, Leaf's musical talents are undeniable.
Her songwriting talents were were featured at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival in the independent film Virgin Again, which has been shown on the Black Family Channel.
Leaf followed her contributions behind the camera by making a move in front of it. She made a guest appearance on an NAACP and Shine Awards nominated episode of UPN's hit television series "Girlfriends”, guest starring Hip-Hop star Common and renound spoken word artist Saul Williams.
Since relocating to Atlanta Leaf started the highly acclaimed live music event “LEAF COOL ECLECTIC”, and has performed at many local venues including Apache Cafe', Sambuca Jazz Cafe', Suger Hill, Centennial Olympic Park, Underground Mall to name a few. She has collaborated with Ras from the Arrested Development and has played guitar in Dionne Farris's band. Leaf is also one of the Atlanta winners of the nation wide all female showcase “Women Who Jamm.”
Her highly anticipated EP titled “LEAF COOL ECLECTIC”, co-arrange by Ryan Waters, Zion Birdsong , Executive Produced by Francisco and Alison Mills Newman is available for purchase on CD Baby.com and Itunes.com.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
