Mr. Friskars and the Happy Fuzzy Day
a short story written by Thomas Brown
ok so once there was this mouse. and this particular mouse, named mr friskars he was. well one morning mr friskars woke up, he raised his little mousy head off his little mousy pillow and he saw that next to him in his bed was a huge piece of cantalope. he was naturally, as any mouse would be, taken back by this and he sprung up out of bed with a startle. but you see mr friskars knew why that cantalope was there and exactly what it meant, and this sent a shiver of fear down his little mousy spine. for it was 20 years ago that morning that he had buried his own wife into a piece of cantalope, set it on fire, crushed it severley and shot it out of a cannon into the middle of the ocean. and as he sent her plummeting to her death she screamed back that she would get her vengence in either this life or the next. and it just so happened, ironically enough that in her next life, she came back as a cantalope, and while she rolled her way from the place of her birth right into the bed of her very own husband and murderer, it was all quite ineffectual because....well shes a fuckin cantalope, i mean what is she really gonna do. so he sat right down and had himself a cantalope breakfast, but he did get indigestion, so i guess that kinda sucked for him, but it all passed after a while
