Leah Miche is an acoustic roots/folk singer songwriter whose inspiration is drawn from real life experiences, political events, and the world around her including its people, cultures, emotions and past loves.
In conjunction with the use of day-to-day themes, many lyrics consist of conjured up thoughts, dreams and images. With the use of interesting chord changes and an offbeat strumming style, Leah’s music has a unique original style.
First discovering her mum’s old Epiphone guitar at 13 Leah knew song writing was her passion, her calling.
So after four years gallivanting over East, the UK and Europe, Leah returned home from her travels to focus all energy on the dream of sharing her music with the world by performing for the first time and collaborating with other musicians.
After performing solo for around a year, in 2007 Leah met Double Bass player, Sarah Clare and Drummer Matt Marsh and formed the band ‘Miche Suite’. The trio have since made a name for themselves in the Perth music scene playing lively shows all around Perth and WA.

A seemingly eclectic yet winsome array of Sydney-bred bands will take the stage at the Hopetoun Hotel on Wed 4 June. The militia of boy fronted pop/rock, The Decorated Generals head up a tidy line-up w/ Damian Robison, Maxine Kauter Band and Liveroom lending their able support. Bunni Boiler Music marches into the Hopetoun in the usual breaking local music style.

Jam’in out tunes over the West Coast, to increase awareness about Carbon Neutral and raise money for Trees For Life.
One effective way we can combat greenhouse gas emissions is to plant trees. Going carbon neutral is an easy way that we can all contribute to a solution by taking responsibility for the carbon dioxide emissions we create with our cars, airplanes and energy use.
