Just released a new album, "Reverie," with Jann Klose (see "Beautiful Dream" mp3). Band members: Jann on vocals, guitar, and all the writing; Chris Marolf on bass, and backup vocals (he also does all of my pics); Patrick Carmichael on drums; Lars Potteiger on piano, accordion, and backup vocals.
Chamber ensemble, "Alea," is a jazz/classical crossover experiment with husband, Lars Potteiger. Alea often brings in special guests depending on the work.
Influences
Currently suffering from a genre identity crisis. Classically trained, but crossing over into rock/pop and jazz. Exploring improvisation, but still loving Bach, Brahms, and the other dead white guys.
Leah Potteiger has been playing violin since the tender age of three. As the daughter of a music educator, she spent her formative years immersed in music, eventually going on to major in violin performance and music education at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Her many years of professional experience include performances with Josh Groban and Mannheim Steamroller, numerous symphony and choral concerts, musicals, chamber recitals, and solo recitals. She currently plays with singer-songwriter Jann Klose, the One World Symphony, and chamber ensemble Alea.
Leah is an L.R. Baggs sponsored artist.

This track is the last chapter of a trilogy called Threnody. Part one you may have heard: Concrete Waterfall. Part two is called Culling Song, and the track is finished, but I since I've uploaded the max number of tracks, I didn't post it. However, you will soon be able to hear the whole thing on my new web page to be up sometime in the next month I hope.
