I am About the Music..I love going to shows, writing about music, performing...promoting...singing the praises of and selling my passion for brilliant bands and talented solo artists...it's what keeps me happy and what keeps me going when the going gets tough....
I'm Interested in artist management. I've worked for a few small artist management companies in Toronto (MCM management & Wonderboy Entertainment) and used to manage a band in Ottawa (www.clarktheband.com). I now act as a music consultant/promoter for a few artists (Cymbals Eat Guitars, The Diableros,Rock Plaza Central, These Electric Lives, Adam McBride-Smith, JP Hoe, The Parkdale Revolutionary Orchestra).
I also have experience booking/planning/advancing tours. I love touring....
I love all types of music, I'm from a very diverse background so growing up I was exposed to a wide variety of sounds. My dad is Mauritian (half African, half Indian) and my mum is British (half Spanish Jew and half Romanian)...yes, I'm a big mutt!
