The universe is a wonderful place.

It usually gives you one of three answers:

- “not now...”,
- “I’ve got something better for you...” or;
- “Yes!”

I’ve had a major record deal.
I’ve been on the radio.

I run movies through my head and think thoughts about all the things that have ever happened to me when I sing.

I’m no technically perfect virtuoso musician. Most of the time I don’t even know the names of the notes I’m singing. Sometimes I even invent new ones.

But somewhere along the way I’ve learned to talk in tune. Write in pictures. And in key, whatever that means… and heck, I even manage to fluke some truly great harmonies.

What I do best of all, is free therapy via songwriting. I re-live, re-organise and resolve the past. And conjure possible futures.

Since going solo I’ve:

• been on nationwide TV, (Rove Live, RocKwiz...)

• had my songs licensed in ads and internationally syndicated American TV shows,

• I’ve strutted live onstage with the cream of Aussie rock acts, and;

• played pubs, clubs, casinos and football stadiums.

The Street Mags even crowned me the new Aussie Rock Queen when I was the only chick to ever front legendary Oz rock band The Angels.

Billboard Senior Editor, Chuck Eddy put my debut solo album in his annual Top Ten. It also got knockout reviews from New York’s Village Voice plus other respected local and international press.

I recently got promoted to rock star central, Los Angeles, for further development. I’m shining up my new songs with veteran producer David J. Holman in his Laurel Canyon studio. I’ve been banned from touching David Holman’s coffee machine ‘cause I keep making it explode. But apart from that, the new record is coming along nicely. Famous musicians drop in as backing band from time to time, including Gnarls Barkley’s drummer!

I do what I do, because I can’t not do it. And because I love it.

The universe IS a wonderful place. It always gives you one of those three answers. At various times, it’s given me the first two...

Right now?
The universe is screaming “YES”.
