Leann's love for music began in the early years of her life, while singing in school choirs and in childrens' choir at church. She continued to stay involved in music throughout her high school years, and soon began receiving principle roles in musicals with the children's theatre in her hometown, where she performed in front of hundreds of people during multiple shows. Being the daughter of a man who works in country radio (myspace.com/philipsgibbons), Leann has been exposed to the country music scene her entire life. In the summer of 2005 at the age of seventeen, she had her first studio experience with a Nashville producer. Weeks later, she was given the opportunity to perform that same song at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Now at the age of twenty-one, besides having the opportunity to sing at various events in her hometown, Leann is also actively involved in her church adult worship choir and a member of the praise team, where she sings on a regular basis. She just finished working on a couple songs with two Nashville producers at Starstruck Studios. Both of those songs can be heard on her myspace! Leann is also currently attending Tennessee Tech University full-time in her hometown, majoring in Marketing. She has had the great honor to open for acts such as Rodney Atkins, Aaron Tippin, Little Texas, and J.C. Andersen, and recently had the opportunity to sing "Does He Love You" with Linda Davis at an event in her hometown.
Hey there Leann! Things are staying busy for us. It's been easy getting lost in a lot of stuff that I'm doing. Not easy keeping with everything that's being thrown at me! But, that's a good thing! I hope you're doing better than ever. I'm sure I'll be seeing you sooner than later!
That's the thing about rumors, frequently they are rooted in truth, but exagerated. I can hold a tune, but I won't be winning any talent shows any time soon. We have more than enough talent to hold down Sundays at WABC.
Hey there! It's been a while... How's all with you? Things are good here. Giggin' a bit. Wish it was more. Gettin' ready to start our next project. Hope you're good. Take care, Tony
