'Overall this album is a triumph. The Leano has captured everyday problems in the world and has expressed them musically through his contagious vocal and mixes. I can only imagine The Leano has grown as a musician from the first time we heard him and this definitely shows he had the courage to send in another album for us to scrutinise. But what can you say, determination is what gets you results and in this case The Leano should sit back and bask in this glowing review.' The mag.
All lyrics by The Leano. Music and production is by Colliss. The album "Steps To Leanoland also contains music & Production by Meka (Mekasonic) & Ben.

The Leano is a creative force residing in the North of London. First and Foremost The Leano is a rapper and poet who has been performing for over ten years in London and across the UKl. Beginning at the tender age of 14 he has pushed many nights throughout the country encouraging artistic expression and creativity from BASS BEHAVIOUR in Hull to SUNDAY SOUNDTRACK in London.
Most recently, he has become an intergral part of the UK hiphop scene by promoting and hosting london's finest hiphop night SCRATCHCLUBWEDNESDAY at The Social W1 every other wednesday and sometimes on saturdays! This night has provided a much needed stage for london's best and biggest hiphop acts from Stig and Syntax to Skrein, to kashmere and the anomalies, we've welcomed them all.
He also is the current host of London's longest running freestyle extravaganza 'SUNDAY CIPHER' which used to reside in The Dragon Bar but now has moved to Herbal.
.. But hosting london's leading night is not Leano's only strength. He is a rapper and poet who is constantly pushing the boundaries of rap through his music. Not contented with the use of Sample banks and loops he has created a completely different sound that has redefined the rules of the genre. His new album 'JUST ANOTHER HUMAN BEING' is testament to this.
Two years ago, The Leano released STEPS TO LEANOLAND, his debut album under his own independent label COLARJRECORDS and it sold over 1000 copies across the country gaining national airplay and critical acclaim without the help of management or PR. These songs are still available to buy below...
The Leano is not just a promoter and performer, he is also an education artist working across the country attempting to teach young people the joy of creativity through words. His workshops presently encourage young people to write poetry and rap about themselves and their society, trying their hardest to stay away from the false ideologies of the BLING culture...Over 5 years of teaching he has gained training and experience from a range of different organisations including POINTBLANK, Apples and Snakes and Bigfoot... this has led to his realisation of THE UPLIFT PROJECT Ltd, a course that attempts to get young people creating a song and music video within a ten hour course.

Hey man, Thanks again for today, it was quality, I really enjoyed it. If you are looking to start typing your stuff up then deviantART might be worth a look... You basically just upload your stuff and then people are free to look at it, give feedback and you can get in touch with other artists. Plus it means that if you lose the original copies your stuff is stored on the internet as well ass the computer. http://oh-youprettythings.deviantart.com/ That's my page, if you decide to sign up just let me know.
Thanks again for everything today, the support means so much :D
