HISTORY: Born Geethan Sangakkara & Janakawad Vithanayagamarana, The Leap Frog
Unicorns have been playing music together since they were young children in their native country of Sri Lanka.
As children they begged for circus peanuts and grubworms as they sang acapella versions of New Edition & Culture Club songs for fleeing citizens, fighting soliders and militant revolutionaries on the war torn streets of Columbo, Sri Lanka.
After 12 years of playing VISVADINU's Brothel & Check Cashing Place on Tuesdays & Wednesdays in Negombo, Sri Lanka....The Leap Frog Unicorns changed their names to Ono Mojave & Nicodemus Benefacio and moved to Hollywood!
MEMBERS:
Ono Mojave sings and plays the triangle while Nicodemus Benefacio performs vocals and plays the xylophone. LFU's music is programmed using the most sophisicated computers on the planet. Nicodemus's pet eagle "Lord Renaldo the Monkey Slayer" is the unofficial manager of LFU.
TOURS: LFU has just got back from a whirlwind tour of almost all the malls in the Hawaiian islands. Most recently on July 4th, LFU held a benefit concert at Fort Street Mall, dubbed the"Your Shi Shi kills Me Worse than Red Algea" show. LFU was able to raise more than $18 for sealife all over the world to unite in protest and finally put an end to humans wantonly peeing in the ocean.
