The Royal Oak Hotel was first licenced in 1851 and is one of the oldest pubs in Tasmania. Today it still holds old style character and friendly atmosphere with 6 beers on tap and a diverse selection of wines.
You can enjoy a drink anytime of the day whatever your taste or palate. If you enjoy live music we offer many genres of music over three times a week.
Our family bistro is open for lunch between 12-2pm and dinner from 5-9pm 7 days per week.
Hey The Royal Oak Hotel, It's a Psychobilly freakout..... We're back for another BIG night of Psycho Rock'n'Roll at the Royal Oak this Saturday 12th Sep 8:30pm, this time with our good friends from Melbourne 'Firebird'. We'd love it if you could get yourself along and go nuts.....!!!
Maybe time for a trip down from Lonnie to come along and see this Sydney all girl trio rock the roof off the place, supported by 'Bone Rattlers' in our first show since the falls festival, also UK rockabilly legend J.Iscariot and local surf trio The Swelltones. This will definately be of the shows most worth seeing this year!
We were going to come in tomorrow after band practice and get an oak burger :), because I (tristan) have an assignment due tommorrow that i have only just started.
