UPDATED XELA NEWS JUNE 2008!! Okay, so first an apology to all those of you who couldn't get copies of the tapes. I'm sorry they're super limited, but for those of you that missed 'The Illuminated' you'll be happy to hear that the lovely folks over at Dekorder in Germany are putting it on luscious vinyl. OH YES. This is exciting stuff, and we'll have new artwork to go with that one. More on the vinyl front in that the MGR/Xela split release I've been banging on about for almost a year is now OUT, so go over to the Barge website and buy it or something. Coming soon (ish) is another release on the Digitalis label, the follow-up to 'The Illuminated' which is entitled 'The Divine'. This sees Mike Weis of Zelienople fame brought into the Xela fold on percussion and is a much more spiritual venture, taking cues from religious music. This will be the second part in a proposed three parter for Digitalis so keep your eyes peeled, everything's going to be incredibly limited of course. There's plenty of other stuff to look out for also, including the LONG delayed 'Electronic Music' LP which should see the light of day any time now, and those of you that haven't checked out the Sea Zombies yet, you'd better do it quickly - the first tape, entitled 'It Died In Africa' is out soon, and is going to be a very limited special edition release, so be quick!
