Leashed 2007 sonlarında İzmit'te İmperceptible Fragment ve Deathblow gruplarından ayrılan Haktan İPEK, Yusuf ERGİN, Alper YARIMBAŞ, Onur DEMİR ve Ferhat UÇAR tarafından kuruldu.Melodic Death Metal tarzını benimseyen grup kısa zamanda beste çalışmalarına başladı ve ilk bestesi "The Eternal Embrace"i kaydetti ve demo için diğer beste kayıtlarına başladı.
Leashed şu ana kadar birçok festivalde ve konserlerde sahne aldı. Leashed'in Repertuarında Dark Tranquillity , Arch Enemy , Children Of Bodom , In Flames , Amon Amarth gibi grupların yanı sıra Graveworm , Six Feet Under , Amorphis gibi grupların şarkıları yer almaktadır
Leashed was founded by Haktan IPEK, Yusuf ERGIN, Alper YARIMBAS, Onur DEMIR and Ferhat UCAR who were separated from their bands named ''Deathblow and Imperceptible Fragment'' in 2007.
Embracing Melodic Death Metal, the band started to compose their song in a short time and recorded their first song called ''The Eternal Embrace".
Leashed performed their first concert in DOROCK in 2 March 2008.
Band such as Graveworm , Six Feet Under , Amorphis is included as well as Dark Tranquillity,Arch Enemy,Children Of Bodom, In Flames, Amon Amarth in Leashed's playlist.
